My client is looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work at a School around the Ruislip area. This is a Part-time Temporary Position to start ASAP for the rest of the academic year, and it will be working ONLY on a Thursday.
To be considered YOU MUST:
• Have recent experience working as a Food Technology Teacher
• Hold a Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Have experience teaching KS3 & GCSE classes
• Be available to start ASAP
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS Certificate
If you are a teacher with dynamic qualities who has a proven record of raising pupil attainment, are able to motivate, inspire and support pupils of all abilities, are keen to further develop your own practice and to work in a team, then we would like to hear from you.
Job Specific Requirements
• Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum
• Experience of curriculum development
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
• Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department
• Proven organisational skills
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents.
