Systematically investigate Firmstep reports using previous Firmstep reports and Bartec events, process reports, keeping customers updated - make sure Firmstep records are organised and current via stringent housekeeping methods (where reports are invalid, refer customers to weblinks and explain, in clear, sensitive and diplomatic way why we will / cannot not take action).
Make a daily check on EH&HS systems for fly tipping cases, allocate work to either EH&HS Wardens or W&R staff and reassign accordingly, keep traceable records. Check and sign off cases weekly.
Speak to supervisors when Firmstep report(s) causes concern, in a timely way, to encourage swift resolution of possible wider issues escalating to your line manager where required.
Work closely with supervisors on daily basis on service failures / alerts, to be able to effectively deal with missed collection reports, replacement container status’ and non-standard bulky collection charges.
Work closely with Bartec Administration Officer when Firmstep reports relate to a customer’s assisted collection, to ensure relevant database(s) / Bartec are up to date and correct as soon as possible.
Be main point of contact for CSC / W&R colleagues on Firmstep-related report queries.
Make weekly checks of ICT online reports of property changes, liaise with Bartec Administration Officer (and supervisors where necessary) to make sure Bartec, databases and crews are updated .
Have a practical approach to and engage in organisational change, seek to consistently improve working practices as part of day-to-day duties.
Maintain working knowledge of the administrative systems W&R colleagues use (Firmstep, databases, Word, Excel and Outlook), to be able to assist / provide support to colleagues as and when required by manager and during periods of high demand and / or backlog.
Actively support NDC’s Equal Opportunities policy and contribute to overall aims and targets of W&R Team and NDC.
