Required for September 2025 start

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and forward-thinking teacher to undertake the role as Deputy SENDCO. The successful candidate, under the direction of the SENDCo will work as part of a team to promote the emotional, physical and educational development of students with special needs, and work in partnership with parents.

The SENDCO must be able to establish excellent relationships with students and colleagues, be flexible and show evidence of their ability to work well within a team, as well as being able to demonstrate clear leadership qualities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The school is committed to providing excellent continuous professional development programmes for all staff. Parliament Hill in collaboration with Torriano Primary School has formed the North London Alliance Research School as part of the EEF’s Research Schools Network. Our innovative cross phase partnership brings together primary and secondary teachers and leaders to implement evidence based EEF approaches to raise the attainment of all pupils, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
