Summary

Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer - Building Maintenance
Location: South West London
Salary: £47,000 + overtime + on call
Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of electrical building services systems

  • Take the lead in identifying and resolving electrical faults and breakdowns across client sites

  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with current regulations, health & safety guidelines, and company procedures

  • Support and oversee junior engineers and subcontractors on-site, ensuring high standards of work and professionalism

  • Manage and update documentation including service records, permits, and compliance logs

  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance as required

  • Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure works are completed efficiently and to satisfaction

  • Assist with small works and project installations when needed

  • Maintain awareness of changes to electrical standards and building regulations

About You

Essential:

  • Electrical background (Level 3 or equivalent)

  • Proven experience in a building maintenance or facilities management environment

  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and control panels

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
