senior regional sales + marketing manager | north region | field based

purpose

define & execute with excellence the wagamama sales and marketing plan in restaurant/ in region (and sub region / town / markets), partnering brilliantly with cross-functional team including operations (RD / AM’s/GMs), Finance BP & People BP to grow sales through the fame and footfall you generate, with the initiatives you initiate in local community month in month out.In this role you are the hands on subject matter expert and share accountability for driving demand with operational teams.

key accountabilities

•devise the sales & marketing plan for the region (& certain towns / cities / segments) to deliver quarterly growth - entrepreneurial out of the box thinking is a must

•identify root cause drivers and craft highly targeted action plans to drive demand of market / site specific challenges (leveraging expertise from across the team) go beyond the national toolkit

•lead local partnerships + community initiatives (sales driving)

•lead relationship with priority shopping centres from sales and marketing perspective meeting shopping centre team at least once a quarter and unlocking added value marketing visibility quarterly

•upskill restaurants with the marketing toolkit – be the knowledge and driving force for ‘owning your mile’ in the region

•presence in north region, at least two days a week in restaurant with particular emphasis on focus sites

•lead monthly cross functional performance meetings, consolidating key drivers of performance and critical actions to be taken for the coming month

•effective management of local marketing budget for your region, plan & review effectiveness of local sales and marketing spend on a monthly basis feedback to Marketing Director / CMCO ROI and future monthly plans to enhance spend effectiveness

•management of marketing senseis in restaurant

•capture guest insight at a local level with AM / marketing senseis and consolidate key learnings and so whats into the Strategy & Insight Director quarterly

•Lead NSO opening sales and marketing plan & execution to drive fame and footfall & nurture for upto 9 months post opening to deliver NSO brand & commercial targets

  • motivator and strong communicator, able to influence and engage local marketing teams
  • able to spot opportunities and threats and highly agile in adapting plans accordingly
  • creative thinker who challenges the status quo
  • experience in restaurant / hospitality to be able to best resonate with teams on the ground
  • highly cross-functional team player with strong communication skills
  • campaign management experience
