About you:
We are searching for an inspirational Head of Year at Thistley Hough Academy to lead students and teams to success. You will bring a strong background in pastoral care, promoting positive attitudes and behaviour amongst students. As our Head of Year you will have excellent communication skills, ability to handle complex problems calmly and hold a commitment to fostering a supportive school environment.
Our ideal candidate would have:
• A high level of general education, coupled with a willingness to embrace personal development.
• Hold experience working with external agencies such as CAMHs and Social Care.
• An ability to engage vulnerable students and their parents.
• Present a flexible approach to work, harnessing an ability to be a proactive team player whilst also being able to work self-sufficiently.
