Please refer to the full job description for further information KEY RESULT AREAS/MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To undertake specialist vestibular clinical work, including videonystagmography, electronystagmography, oVEMPS, cVEMPs, calorics, vHIT, posturography, vestibular bedside assessment, detailed clinical vestibular history taking, BPPV assessment techniques including Hallpike, Sidelying, Roll test. To be the Lead Specialist on Vestibular diagnostics in the Audiology department and manage those patients presenting with a complex history and assessment outcome, including children. To adapt and design the assessment battery based on patient history and assessment results. To provide an individualised treatment plan based on cross-disciplinary guidance and assessment outcomes. To be responsible for quality control of the vestibular service. To provide vestibular rehabilitation which includes developing individualised treatment plans which include vestibular rehabilitation exercises, BPPV particle repositioning procedures (Epley, Semont, BBQ roll, Casani, Appiani). To provide vestibular rehabilitation group treatment sessions such as introductory group, pacing group, support group. To provide pacing group training by employing CBT and mindfulness skills in a vestibular rehabilitation context. The vestibular diagnostic and vestibular rehabilitation services are provided to both adults and children. To undertake advanced adult diagnostic testing to include speech audiometry, OAEs, ABRs and ASSRs.
