Crynodeb
This is a sessional position, with shift availability managed via an online rota system. Flexibility is important, as shift patterns may vary depending on service needs. Safely drive and operate the Community Health Bus to scheduled locations. Recharge the electric vehicle as needed to ensure it remains operational. Clean the vehicle at the start and end of each shift, ensuring clinic rooms are ready for the next shift. Ensure the bus is set up and ready for the start of clinics. Support the setup of basic IT equipment (e.g. laptops, printer, Wi-Fi) and report any issues to relevant teams promptly. Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues. Liaise with healthcare staff to support smooth service delivery. Act as a Marshal on-site, managing patient flow, providing directions, and assisting with queuing and safety outside the bus. Provide a friendly and professional presence when engaging with staff, patients, and the public. Adhere to health and safety protocols related to vehicle operation, site setup, and public engagement. Ensure mandatory training including CPR, Safeguarding adults and children, GDPR (IG) and sexual harassment is completed and renewed annually in line with company policy. Confidentiality In the performance of the duties outlined in this job description, the post-holder may have access to confidential information relating to patients and their carers, Practice staff and other healthcare workers. All such information from any source is to be regarded as strictly confidential. Information relating to patients, carers, colleagues, other healthcare workers or the business of the Alliance may only be divulged to authorized persons in accordance with the Alliances policies and procedures relating to confidentiality, and the protection of personal and sensitive data. Ensuring that all accidents or dangerous accidents are reported and investigated and follow up action taken where necessary.
