The Role
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the Directorate for Students Team as a Higher Education Learning Mentor. This role is vital in supporting student success by delivering proactive, inclusive, and accessible academic and wellbeing support. You will help students navigate their higher education journey through tailored one-to-one sessions, engaging workshops, and innovative online resources that promote academic achievement, personal development, and employability.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Delivering individual and group academic and wellbeing support tailored to students’ learning needs, both in-person and online.
Designing and facilitating workshops to enhance study skills, digital literacy, and employability.
Collaborating with curriculum and support teams to identify and address barriers to student progression.
Promoting the use of digital and assistive technologies to support independent learning.
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement through data analysis and impact reporting.
Engaging with wider student support services including careers, counselling, and finance, and participating in events such as open days and enrolment.
