What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a Nurse-Qualified Deputy Manager to join Oakbank Care Home, our beautiful new care home in Crieff, Perthshire. As a newly commissioned service, this is a unique opportunity to make your mark from the outset, shaping care standards, supporting your team, and helping to build a culture of excellence from the ground up.

Location: Oakbank Care Home, Countess Gardens, Crieff PH7 3DP

Salary: £25 per hour (equivalent to £50,050 per year)

Hours: 38.5 hours per week (50% clinical, 50% supernumerary)

About Oakbank Care Home:

Oakbank Care Home is a beautiful, brand-new, purpose-built service located in the scenic town of Crieff, offering luxury accommodation and high-quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing, Palliative, and Respite care for up to 70 residents.

Though we’ve only been open nine months, we’re built on a strong foundation our Home Manager previously led the original Home for five years before it was rebuilt. During the transition, she supported other homes across the region, earning a reputation for compassionate leadership and meaningful impact. Now, she’s back to lead this stunning new service, and you’ll be joining her as part of the home’s emerging senior leadership structure.

About You:

As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Home Manager in delivering the highest standards of care and clinical practice. You’ll lead by example mentoring your team, coordinating shifts, and always championing dignity, choice, and resident well-being. Collaboration is key, as you’ll work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to create truly person-centred experiences.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

This is a hands-on role with a 50/50 split between clinical responsibilities and supernumerary time. You’ll be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN, strong clinical knowledge, and ideally at least two years’ experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within a larger care home.

Most importantly, you’re a calm, confident leader who communicates clearly, supports your team with compassion, and truly believes in the power of high-quality care.

How We’ll Support You:

Oakbank is part of Care Concern Group, a family-run care provider with over 100 homes across the UK. We’re proud to grow our own from this region alone, four Deputies have progressed to Home Managers, and two Managers have stepped up into Commissioning roles.

We’ll support your journey with ongoing development, pay your annual NMC registration, and give you the tools, trust, and training you need to thrive.

Our Values:

We believe in delivering care to the highest standard, and our five core values guide everything we do:

Trust | Respect | Passion | Kindness | Inclusivity

These values define who we are, how we lead, and how we care. If you share our commitment to excellence, Oakbank is where you can truly belong and make a real impact.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your leadership journey and want to be part of a home that values kindness, professionalism, and potential we’d love to hear from you.
