Crynodeb
Two Support Workers are required for 36-39 hours per week, to support a disabled gentleman with epilepsy who requires 24/7 care. The hours will include both day and night time support, weekends and bank holidays.
The Gentleman lives in Bedale and needs support and assistance accessing community activities such as outdoor activities, concerts, theatre etc. Duties further include personal/health care needs, domestic assistance and encouragement to take part in activities within the community. The gentleman also goes on a one-week holiday twice a year, which he requires 24/7 care. Therefore, it is essential that the successful applicants will provide support with this.
The applicants must be a driver (over the age of 25 due to motor insurance requirements) have a full clean driving licence and experience with Epilepsy is essential for this position.
The rate of pay is £14.30 per hour.
