Summary
2 Female Care Assistants are required to help support a young lady with severe health conditions including learning difficulties and epilepsy, who requires 24/7 care on a 2:1 basis. The hours available are 20 per week each plus extra hours to cover holidays and sickness of other staff members. Please note the lady lives in her family home in Cayton, Scarborough.
The shifts are:
Friday & Saturday nights 8 pm till 6 am
The rate of pay is £14.70 per hour and bank holiday rate is £22.05 per hour
It is essential that the successful applicant should have some knowledge of epilepsy and learning difficulties.
The PA must have access to a car as there is no public transport available.
It would be desirable to have first aid, moving and handling and administration of medication training however full training would be given.
You will be occasionally asked to help cover extra monitoring for seizures which can be unpredictable and severe and require 2.1 care staff when they occur.
