Crynodeb
We are looking for a new Private Gardener/Handyman/Driver to work full-time for the Director and Owner of our family run business that has been going since 1937.
Based at Barleylands Farm, Essex the ideal person will have good relevant experience and be trustworthy, flexible and have a positive attitude.
It is a very interesting role with the main duties including gardening (flowers / vegetables /greenhouse), mowing, light maintenance tasks, Vehicle Maintenance, Car Washing and Driving the Owners to events. You will be working with good machines and have a very varied workload.
Hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday plus some overtime at evenings and some weekends for driving jobs.
You will be given a good remuneration package which will depend on ability and experience of individual applicants. The company is also willing to help the right applicant further their knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities
Conduct regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks.
Assist in garden upkeep, including planting, weeding, and seasonal preparation.
Carry out general repairs around the property as needed, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
Maintain clean and organised work areas, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
Report any significant issues or repairs needed to management promptly.
Vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
Occasional driving (evenings and weekends)
Requirements
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and gardening practices is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently
Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods.
