Summary
Title: HGV Driver / Tractor Driver The Best Connection are recruiting for a tractor hedge cutting operative to work around the Preston area.
Job involves:
Using a tractor-mounted hedge cutter to trim hedges on industrial estates. The job may also include other tractor-mounted tasks, such as mowing and flailing.
Responsibilities
Using tractor-mounted equipment to cut hedges Maintaining hedges Using other tractor-mounted equipment, such as for mowing and flailing Working with flammable liquids, such as petrol, diesel, and oils Following health and safety practices Skills and qualifications Good communication skills Good customer service skills Ability to work with minimum supervision Knowledge of tractor driving Ability to deal with difficult situations Willingness to work overtime A full and valid Driving licence Qualifications
A City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in the use of tractor-mounted hedge and verge cutters is preferred but not essential
