We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cargo X-Ray Screener & Warehouse Operative to join our busy freight handling team. This dual role involves carrying out X-ray screening of cargo to meet security standards, along with general warehouse duties to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
-Operate X-ray screening equipment to inspect cargo for prohibited items
-Accurately interpret X-ray images and report any irregularities
-Carry out general warehouse tasks including:
-Loading and unloading freight
-Sorting, scanning, and labelling goods
-Assisting with inventory control and order processing
-Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures
-Maintain accurate records and documentation
-Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations

Shift Pattern:
4-on, 4-off rotating shift pattern
2 Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
2 Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Essential Requirements:
-Experience operating X-ray screening equipment
-Previous work in a cargo/freight or warehouse environment
-Must be 5-year vettable for background screening
-Hold a clear and current DBS check
-Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
