Our client is a well-established law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services across Private Client, Family Law, and Conveyancing. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Trusts and Probate Solicitor or CILEX-qualified Fee-Earner to join their Private Client team.
Role Summary:
You will take ownership of a varied caseload including:
• Administration of estates (including complex IHT400 cases and intestacies)
• Lifetime and will-based trusts, including life interest and discretionary trusts
• Setting up and managing trusts from inception through to administration
• Drafting relevant documents and liaising with HMRC where required
• Advising high-net-worth clients and families on estate and trust matters
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years’ PQE in Wills, Probate, and Trusts
• Fully competent in handling matters independently
• Strong understanding of IHT, CGT, and trust administration
• CILEX or Solicitor qualification
• STEP qualification is advantageous but not essential
Candidate Profile:
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Empathetic and professional when dealing with elderly and high-net-worth clients
• Flexible and collaborative team player
• Strong communication and IT skills, including use of modern case management systems
