Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of housing grants and financial assessments? Neway International is recruiting a Grant Officer to support Sefton MBC in delivering housing improvements across the Borough.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a Borough-wide service to customers requiring housing grant support.
Conduct financial assessments and advise on Sefton’s Disabled Facilities Grant and loan conditions.
Engage with older people and individuals with disabilities, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders involved in grant administration.
Maintain accurate records and apply systems, processes, and procedures to support a busy office environment.
Skills & Experience Required:
Knowledge of welfare rights and benefits.
Experience working with vulnerable individuals or in a customer-facing role.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid role with minimal supervision.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards.
