Volunteer School Counsellor
Starting – As soon as possible
Minimum 3-4 hours per week, 38.4 weeks term time
ElmWey Learning Trust is a multi-academy trust, comprising two local secondary schools including Heathside Weybridge, a successful, oversubscribed 11-18 secondary school.
Our commitment to mental health and wellbeing is central to our school's ethos. We are proud to have recently been reaccredited with the Wellbeing Award for Schools (December 2023), recognising our dedication to fostering positive wellbeing and a supportive community for both students and staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed volunteer trainee counsellor or psychotherapist to join our therapy team and who:
• Is able to commit to a minimum of 3-4 hours of student counselling aged 11-18 per week during term time for at least 2 academic terms
• Is enrolled on a BACP, UKCP or BPS accredited course
• Has a minimum of 50 clinical hours experience
