To start as soon as possibleThe LA and Governing Body wish to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work as part of our dedicated team supporting our wonderful pupils at Springwood Primary School.
We are a thriving, vibrant and caring school with 300+ pupils on roll. All of our staff are great team players with a shared vision for excellence and inclusion, acting as role models for all of our pupils.
The successful candidates will have experience of working with children in a primary setting, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to establish effective working relationships with children, staff, parents and other professionals. Good standards of literacy and numeracy are also essential.
We can offer you a positive and supportive working environment where everyone feels valued. Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
These posts are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check. Candidates must register with the Education Workforce Council
