• The unit houses the Bowel Cancer Screening Centre and we provide care for patients undergoing therapeutic GI endoscopy and bronchoscopy.
• We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 Endoscopy Senior Staff Nurse (6 months to cover mat leave) who is interested in gaining further leadership and management skills in this innovative and busy specialities.
• Successful post holder will already possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a busy and dedicated team.
• You need to be RN with a desirable 1 year endoscopy clinical experience.
• This position will require someone that is confident in their knowledge and delivery of excellence in every aspect of patients care.
• To support and deputise Endoscopy Nurse Manager to ensure the provision of excellent nursing care and the effective management of staff and other resources
• Also to carry out the day-to day management and co-ordination of the Endoscopy unit. To ensure that there are education and training opportunities for all staff.
