Job Summary
Support the Contracts Manager and Engineering Team in the delivery of hard FM services across the Scholls contract in the Midlands region.
Duties
Ensure Compliance through planned audits, inspections and testing
Ensure all Compliance records up to date and available at all times on each site or escalated to management
Produce up-to-date ad hoc reports on all services managing CAFM for all tasks planned and reactive works
Meet with client and auditors as necessary, and attend meetings ensuring all agreed actions completed
Maintain buildings and sites across Midlands Schools as required
Take ownership of maintenance delivery at all sites
Cover all sites as and when required
Be on call for escalations
Organising on call rota
Managing of maintenance team
Responsible for team CPDs, appraisal, HR matters
Ensure all staff are competent and fully supported in all tasks
Ensure training and refresher courses are planned and implemented to FES FM and SPT
Assist in allocation of tasks to engineers
Prioritise own and manager’s workload
Managing of subcontractors as required
Ideally have a minimum of 2 years managerial or acting manager experience in building maintenance and or Facilities management
Previous trade training in M&E and experience essential
Use and plan your time to meet the requirements of the daily and weekly working, and assisting colleagues
Capable of competently using the IT provided
Be prepared to complete any task requested of you in the maintenance and support of the Contract implementation
Attend training as required to enhance management and technical skills
Good knowledge of H&S (formal training preferred)
Attend monthly site meetings with client
Create monthly reports for each site
