Summary

Job Title: Senior Clinical Psychologist
Salary: £55,880 to £63,487 per annum
Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified psychologist with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality psychological care within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to service users with complex needs.

Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared decision-making and coordinated care planning.

Apply the SAFE model (Shared Assessment, Formulation, and Education) to guide clinical practice and ensure collaborative, trauma-informed care.

Offer consultation, supervision, and training to other professionals to enhance psychological understanding and practice across the service.

Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent).

HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.

Minimum of 2–5 years' post-qualification experience, ideally in mental health or related complex care settings.

Strong understanding and practical experience of MDT working principles.

Experience and confidence in using the SAFE model in clinical practice.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
