Role Specification
Role Objective:
As a Quote Chaser for the Interiors Division, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of this expanding sector. This office-based role is ideal for an experienced and established professional with a proven track record in both client engagement and lead generation. Your primary focus will be on effectively following up outstanding quotes to secure business opportunities to drive revenue growth. By combining meticulous attention to detail with proactive business acumen, you will ensure the Interiors Division establishes a strong foothold in the market, exceeding client expectations and delivering measurable results.
You will work collaboratively with internal teams to refine processes, leverage market insights, and optimise opportunities. The successful candidate will bring confidence, professionalism, and creativity to the role, consistently striving for excellence in all aspects of quote chasing. This new role is a key appointment in the division, and your contribution will directly support the company's strategic objectives and elevate the profile of the Interiors Division within the Evo Group.
Summary of Role Primary Responsibilities:
- Proactively track and follow up outstanding quotes to convert opportunities into orders.
- Build relationships with customers, ensuring timely responses and providing professional support throughout the quote process.
- Collaborate with internal teams, in sales and operations to collate and feedback information to address customer specific requirements or concerns.
- Work to a daily schedule, carrying out and maintaining accurate records and KPI’s of quote status, updates and outcome, feedback and opportunities and identify trends in success rates which can contribute to strategies and processes to enhance conversion rates.
- Develop and execute methods to increase brand visibility and expand the interiors client base
- Cultivate initial contacts into viable business relationships ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunity for the Specialists and Account managers to advance.
- Maintain and manage our CRM system to ensure seamless tracking and follow up activity, enabling efficient communication.
- Actively contribute ideas and feedback to agree efforts with strategic business goals providing regular updates on progress towards targets and share insights to support divisional success and improve efficiencies.
- Assist with the preparation of quote summaries, proposals or tenders when required.
Secondary Responsibilities
- To work with the wider administration team, answering calls, responding to customer emails and queries, raising quotes, placing orders, liaising with suppliers, warehouse and planning and any other duties as and when required by management.
Person Specification
SKILLS/ ABILITIES
Essential
- Proven experience of working in Sales, business development and customer engagement roles with a focus on lead generation and / or quote management.
- Demonstrating success in quote conversion and building strong client relationships
- Familiar with work space solutions and interiors product sector is advantageous
- Proficiency in actively solving problems and influencing customers to accept outcomes
- Demonstrate the ability to manage queries in the best interest of both the customer and company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of customers and personnel
- Build and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships and display a good understanding of commercial and operational policies, processes and procedures
- Ability to assess client needs, market opportunities and quote trends to improve processes and outcomes.
- Strong time management, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects with a proactive mindset to identify innovative approaches for business growth
- Actively communicate and reinforce Company vision and values
