Summary
A warm and welcoming family based in Ipswich, Suffolk, are seeking an experienced and caring Nanny to look after their two young children, aged 3 years and 11 months.
The ideal nanny will be nurturing, reliable, and confident in supporting children at different developmental stages. A calm, engaging approach and a genuine passion for early years care are essential. The role will also include caring for the family dog, including daily dog walks. The family home is ideally located next to Christchurch Park – a beautiful green space with excellent facilities, including a fantastic playground.
The nanny's duties will include preparing breakfast and helping the children get ready for the day, taking and collecting the eldest child, from a local nursery three days per week, and providing nursery care for the baby. You will be expected to offer the children healthy, balanced meals, manage the baby’s physical care needs, and engage in playtime. Additional responsibilities include going for walks to enjoy fresh air and nature, attending local groups, and planning outings to encourage socialisation and development.
You must be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence. An on-duty vehicle will be provided for your use.

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 Childcare qualification preferred.
Hours of work: 8am to 7pm
Days required: Monday – Friday
Pets in the home: A friendly dog.
Driving required: Yes, required for this position.
Job Start Date: May 2025.
Job End Date: November 2025.
Pay: £15.00 Gross per hour, £825.00 Gross per week.
Benefits: Car provided for on duty use.
