Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Forecourt Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of the station, assisting customers with fuel purchases, convenience store items, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with their fuel and convenience store purchases in a friendly and professional manner.
- Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments), and ensure accurate transactions.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an understanding of available products and services to assist customers.
- Fueling Assistance: Provide customers with fuel-related assistance as needed, including informing them of current prices and promotions.
- Stocking & Maintenance: Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the store and fueling area.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and policies, ensuring the safety of both customers and team members.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional manner and escalate issues when necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous cash handling or retail experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
