As part of our Housing Management Contract (HMC) with Cheshire West and Chester Council, you’ll undertake damp surveys across responsive repairs and void properties to inform investment planning, diagnose defects, scope works, and prepare specifications.

What you’ll be doing:
• Carrying out damp surveys, preparing budget estimates, specifications, schedules, bills of quantities, and obtaining quotations or tenders.
• Preparing reports and statistical returns, and monitoring information for management and boards.
• Undertaking general surveying and project management duties.
• Attending and facilitating resident group meetings.
• Liaising with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders on all matters relating to damp and mould issues.
• Championing good practice in asset management and taking an active role in your own personal development.
What we’re looking for:
• Working towards or obtained HNC, HND, other qualification, or equivalent experience in Building Surveying.
• Experience carrying out damp surveys.
• Working towards or obtained a Certificated Surveyor of Timber and Dampness in Buildings, or equivalent.
