Our client is an award-winning building design consultancy currently experiencing a period of growth. Due to continued steady expansion, they are looking for an Electrical Building Services Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This role can be based in Northallerton, Otley, or Durham and will offer hybrid working options.
You will be joining a successful team in an exciting environment, providing a variety of services including those relating to building pathology, design, project management, building surveys and contract administration.

About the Electrical Building Services Engineer
As Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will be producing early design advice through to detailed electrical services design.
Other responsibilities include:
Production of Electrical Building Services design calculations using a wide range of techniques ranging from simple hand calculations through to industry standard software such as Hevacomp, DIALux and Relux.
Producing feasibility reports, condition surveys, design specifications and drawings suitable for all RIBA work stages.
Drawing production using AutoCAD/Revit.
Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
About You – Electrical Building Services Engineer
As Electrical Engineer, you will have a post degree/HNC experience working as an electrical engineer, with a good working knowledge of electrical services.
Other requirements include:
Practical experience of applying your knowledge and competence across a variety of projects.
Experience of, and competent to work on buildings that contain asbestos.
You will be joining a successful team in an exciting environment, providing a variety of services including those relating to building pathology, design, project management, building surveys and contract administration.
