Temporary PT Business Analyst Cam Conservator

The role is flexible and part-time (2-3 days per week) over a 3–6-month period, with flexibility to accommodate project needs and milestones.

Key Requirements:
Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure or capital remediation projects.
Proven background in strategic financial planning, ideally within a public or statutory organisation.
Understanding of public sector finance, funding processes, and accountability.
Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-sector collaboration.
Ability to work with and advise governance structures such as Boards or Committees.
Competency in budget management, forecasting, and financial modelling.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with experience preparing reports, presentations, and funding proposals.
Project Management Expertise.
Knowledge of navigational and environmental legislation.
Adaptability innovative problem-solving local knowledge
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support the development of a short-term funding plan for vital lock remediation, and to contribute to securing the long-term financial sustainability of the organisation.
This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of the most iconic natural and cultural assets. Working closely with the Chair, CEO, and senior stakeholders, you will lead a business and organisational assessment and help chart a sustainable path forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse current financial position and future funding needs.
Evaluate the impact of financial constraints on operations and strategy.
Review Conservancy processes, infrastructure, assets, and governance.
Identify cost-saving, efficiency, and income-generating opportunities.
Research and evaluate potential funding sources (grants, loans, investment).
Prepare compelling business cases, pitch decks, and funding materials.
Facilitate strategic planning sessions with leadership and stakeholders.
