We are currently recruiting for a HGV Moffett Driver for a leading supplier in the building and landscaping industry, specializing in providing high-quality fence panels and building supplies to businesses and residential customers across the UK.
The Role: As a HGV1 Moffett Driver, you will play a crucial role in the companies supply chain, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of fence panels to customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include loading, transporting, and unloading goods using a Moffett forklift, adhering to the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a HGV vehicle and Moffett forklift. Load and secure fence panels and other materials as required for safe transportation. Plan routes efficiently and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including assisting with unloading and placement of materials as needed. Coordinate with the logistics team to report any issues or delays. Comply with all transport laws, as well as company policies and procedures. Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 Or Class 2 vehicle (C+E) driving license. Certified Moffett operator with proven experience. Previous experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Physically fit and able to handle and transport heavy materials. Friendly and professional demeanor. Flexible with work hours and able to undertake long-distance jobs when necessary. Pay- £17-£21 per hour

- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
