Title: Jetting Operative / Plant Operative The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Confined Space/ Jetting Operative for a well established company based in Stockton who are leading experts within environmental services, providing high-quality industrial cleaning and maintenance services. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional results to our clients while ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members.
As an Industrial Jetter Technician, you will be responsible for operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean, clear, and maintain industrial pipes, drains, and equipment. This role requires a hands-on individual who enjoys problem-solving and working in various challenging environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate and maintain high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean industrial machinery, pipes, and drains. Perform routine maintenance and inspection of jetting equipment. Identify and resolve issues within pipelines, equipment, and drainage systems. Follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment. Work collaboratively with the team to meet client expectations and deadlines. Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional demeanour at all times. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised. Document work performed and report findings to management. REQUIREMENTS: CSCS/CCNSG / Site Safety Passport required Confined space certificate Previous experience operating high-pressure water jetting equipment. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Health and safety awareness and a commitment to following safety procedures. HOURS OF WORK: Standard working week Monday to Friday 08.00am - 17.00pm PAY RATES: £12.75 per hour basic rate £19.13 per hour overtime rate BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR THE BEST CONNECTION INCLUDE: On-going assignments Weekly pay Holiday entitlement Personal accident insurance On-line payslips Pension provision Access to 'Perks at Work' temporary worker benefit scheme
