TeacherActive are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to work with children and teenagers with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
We are looking for individuals to work in a lovely SEND school in the Wirral (CH49). The school is a specialist provider of education for Pupils aged 11 to 19 with complex learning difficulties, communication and/or sensory needs, autism, ADHD and varying health condition
Ideally, you will have a Level 2 or 3 Support Work in Schools qualification, and direct experience of working in an SEND setting.
If you do not have this qualification, or experience in a SEND school, you will need three or more months of experience in UK schools to be successful in your application.
The school is looking to appoint a fantastic SEND Teaching Assistant on a long term basis, with the possibility of doing permanent for the right candidate .
The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will have:
• Experience working within SEND settings
• Experience supporting children in groups or 1:1
• Excellent classroom management
• A caring and nurturing personality
