Crynodeb
To participate in the receipt, recording and storage of samples. To maintain accurate records using both computer and paper-based systems. Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis. Input of patient data into Department IT systems. Perform general clerical duties, e.g., filing, photocopying etc. Monitor consumables and inform senior staff when stocks are low. Assist with the preparation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment. To perform general laboratory duties, e.g. checking instruments and recording temperatures. To participate in risk management of the department including incident reporting. Notify senior staff of all problems encountered in the performance of duties. To maintain safe and efficient standards of work, following codes of practice. Assist in training of other support staff.
