Location: Coatbridge
Basic Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities of a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician

• Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
• Diagnose and fix faults using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
• Accurately complete compliance documentation
• Deliver high-quality repairs while providing excellent customer service
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times
• Attend technical training including IRTEC, tail lift, and axle/brake system courses

Skills and Qualifications for a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician
Essential

• Experience with HGV trailers or heavy vehicles
• Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in HGV maintenance

Desirable

• HGV Class 1 driving licence
• IRTEC accreditation
• EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO)
• Welding certification
• Experience with BPW, SAF, or JOST axles
• Tail lift, double deck, or lifting deck maintenance experience
