Perfect Household Staff are proud to present a wonderful opportunity for a professional and dependable housekeeper to join a private household on a long-term, part-time basis, working across two beautifully maintained residences in Notting Hill and Marylebone.
The first residence is a duplex apartment spread across the ground and lower ground floors, comprising two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living area, a dedicated dining space, and a private garden. The second property is a single-level apartment within a purpose-built building, featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living area, and a balcony.
Both homes are elegant, well-organised, and require a consistently high standard of upkeep. The role includes all general housekeeping duties such as deep cleaning of bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, and living areas, hoovering, dusting, and dishwashing. A particularly important aspect of the role is expert laundry care, with emphasis on the proper handling of fine fabrics, delicate garments, and luxury linens. The successful candidate must be confident and experienced in caring for high-quality textiles, including arranging occasional dry-cleaning when required. There are no cooking duties involved.
The appointed housekeeper will be expected to work at the Notting Hill residence on Mondays and Thursdays, and at the Marylebone residence on Tuesdays and Fridays. This structure allows for even coverage throughout the week and helps maintain each property to the client's preferred standard.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, be well-versed in caring for fine finishes and materials, and take pride in maintaining a high level of cleanliness and presentation. The client is seeking someone reliable, self-motivated, and discreet, with excellent spoken English and a professional demeanour.
The position is offered four days per week (28 hours total), with an employment contract and 24 days of paid holiday. Both residences are single-occupancy, and there are no childcare, pet care, or driving duties involved.

Organising and sending out items for dry cleaning when required
Ensuring both homes are consistently tidy, presentable, and well maintained
Following any specific cleaning instructions or preferences set by the principals
Securing properties after work is completed and respecting the privacy and confidentiality of the household at all times
