An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Specialist Nursing team who work within Blenheim Child Development Centre . We are an innovative forward thinking team who are looking to recruit someone with the same passion, energy and empathy. We are particularly looking for someone who has a special interest in working with children who have additional needs and their families. We work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and are committed to early support/intervention. We are always looking at ways we can deliver our service more effectively and have robust pathways including episodes of care/support and development.

The Specialist Nursing team provide specialist additional knowledge and skills in supporting children and their families with complex health and developmental needs.
The post holder will provide clinical expertise in the assessment and management of children with additional needs and their families. This will be as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Blenheim Child Development centre.
The post holder will be responsible for providing episodes of care to children with a range of complex needs and their families. They will also offer episodes of support and specialist advice/training to professionals/colleagues and the wider multi-disciplinary team. In addition they will also play an integral role in supporting the shaping and development of the service utilising current research/evidence including NICE guidance.
You will need to be flexible in the hours of work and have experience of
working with children who have an additional need and/or disability
and supporting families who are often on very difficult journeys.

We are a very supportive, friendly team who work closely with a range of professionals such as Paediatricians, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
You will have a robust induction and regularly access both clinical and safeguarding supervision.
