JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 10 year old girl living in the Miskin area. I live with my parents, and my brother aged 15 along with our 2 cats.

I am seeking a personal assistant to support me out in the local community. I have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, PICA and I am non-verbal.

I struggle to recognise risks and keep myself safe so will require support in this area, I usually go out with family but I am looking forward to gain some independence and developing my social skills without my family. I can become overstimulated and may display behaviours that challenge, so need two people with me at all times.

I am non-verbal but can communicate in other ways- I use my iPad to type sentences to show what I want or I will use Makaton.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support and assist me out in the local community. You will work alongside a second person, 2:1.

HOURS OF WORK

RATE OF PAY

£13.50 per hour and 0.40p a mile.
