Summary
The primary role of the PDT Business Manager is to coordinate all corporate activities across PDT, enabling team members on all sides of the business to concentrate on core activity in support of delivering the overarching PDT activities. Dependent on the ‘tasking’ and business need, there may be a requirement to travel to meetings within the UK.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate, collate and prepare inputs to all Boards internal and external to the BCT Team preparing associated briefs as appropriate.
Monitor and track PDT expenditure against the TSDT budget, ensuring that Line Managers audit 10% of all Travel and Subsistence Expenses Claims, and In Year Reward and Thank You expenditure is within budget (and approvals meet monthly payroll deadlines).
Monitor and track all Transformation spend throughout the year and assist / liaise with Project Managers and Budget Managers to ensure their forecasts remain accurate and meaningful.
Support the management and maintenance of the PDT budget alongside Budget Manager attending monthly Finance and Resource Forecast meetings and report team budget status.
Support the delivery of Business Plans and Performance Monitoring ensuring an effective plan is implemented and maintained throughout its life cycle.
Lead the coordination of Team Meeting, managing room bookings, co-ordinating calendars, and providing administrative support to meeting inputs and outputs including maintaining actions logs and team risk registers.
Maintain organisational structure, position management hierarchy providing monthly workforce planning updates and monthly updates of the SDC Dashboard, and act as POC for Team Vacancy Approvals.
Manage and support PDT HR, and as Team People Lead (TPL) support Line Managers in managing absence and attendance, on-boarding and off-boarding of resources (team members and contractors etc.)
Act as Business Continuity (BC) focal point ensuring requirements are managed through maintenance of the BC Plan.
Provide business management support i.e. diary management, travel booking to Senior Leadership Team This role may also have additional local site responsibilities dependant on location.
