Crynodeb
The day-to-day role is set within a community mental health team and therefore an understating is desirable of the relationship between physical and mental health, and its impact on lifestyle decisions together with the socioeconomic challenges our patient cohort face. Community HCA seeing patients in clinics, their homes and health settings throughout Northamptonshire. Phlebotomy (taking bloods samples). ECG (Heart tracing). Measuring hight / weights / blood pressure / temperature. Providing guidance on healthy lifestyles and refering to other services as identified. Entering data into software.
