What skills and experience we're looking for

As a Key Stage 2 teacher working within our family of schools, you will support children aged 7-11 in developing deeper knowledge and critical thinking through a broad and balanced curriculum, fostering independence, resilience, and a love for learning in preparation for secondary education.

In joining our family of schools, you will be appointed to a school within a local area (see below) and we will work with you to offer deployment to a school that is suitable for you geographically, and that matches your skillset, development and the needs of the school. This brings opportunity and flexibility should you wish to consider working in other schools that bring different challenges and experiences to further develop your practice and input to a wider community. Deployments will always be in consultation and for full academic years unless in exceptional circumstances.

We foster resilience, independence, and a love of learning that will stay with our pupils throughout their lives.

We are a close-knit family team, working together to achieve amazing things. We deeply value the importance of community and family, and we have a dedicated strategy to ensure that these relationships are embedded within our schools.

If you're a passionate and dedicated educator who believes in the power of primary education to shape young lives, we invite you to join our Outwood family. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to our team, and together, we'll make a lasting difference in the lives of our children.
