As a Claims Specialist (First Notice of Loss), you will provide an exceptional claims experience by taking initial loss reports, assessing key information, and guiding customers through the first steps of the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and document incoming First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls and online reports related to motor vehicle claims.
Collect and verify essential accident details and customer information accurately.
Provide empathetic and clear communication to guide customers through the claims process.
Assess urgency and severity of claims to prioritize appropriately.
Ensure all data entry is completed promptly and accurately into internal systems.
Coordinate with internal teams, adjusters, and external partners when necessary.
Support fraud detection efforts by identifying inconsistencies or suspicious activity.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in motor insurance claims, particularly First Notice of Loss (FNOL), preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
