Cleaner required for Part time work in Penzance
Domestic cleaners required to work in residential homes in Penzance (and other areas) undertaking general cleaning and other house cleaning tasks. This is part-time up to around 16 hours a week, and often done while the homeowner is out of the house. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner requires. But they may include any of the following and some more:
- dusting and polishing furniture
- cleaning windows
- vacuuming floors
- mopping floor tiles
- ironing clothes
- washing up pots and pans
For the role, you need:
- To enjoy undertaking practical tasks.
- To be reliable and motivated.
- Have knowledge of using household cleaning equipment and materials.
- The ability to work without supervision.
- To have great cleaning standards.
- To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if necessary. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off spring clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials are provided by the customer. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.
Salary: £14 - £20
