Job Summary

Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and cater to the varying abilities of students.
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing and feedback, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to succeed.
Employ effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
Provide tutoring and mentoring to students who require additional assistance, particularly in subjects such as Maths and Science.
Conduct laboratory sessions for scientific research and practical experiments, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the educational programme.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour, reporting any concerns to appropriate staff members.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Strong proofreading abilities to ensure clarity and accuracy in all written materials.
Proficiency in Maths with the capability to teach complex concepts clearly.
Experience in behaviour management techniques that promote a respectful classroom environment.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and safety measures relevant to scientific education.
Background in scientific research or biochemistry is advantageous for teaching advanced science topics.
Experience in special education is beneficial for supporting diverse learners effectively.
A passion for tutoring and mentoring students to help them achieve their academic goals.
