Ensure that programme objectives, scope, deliverables, critical success factors and risks are clearly documented Establish project teams as required to support programme delivery with appropriate operational, clinical and corporate team membership. Co-ordinate the input of stakeholders and service users to ensure that appropriate options are appraised and delivered. Working with the senior responsible officer (SRO) for their programme(s), set-up and lead programme board meetings, involving stakeholders and project team members as required. Responsible for controlling, directing, planning and allocating work and motivating service users to get directly, or indirectly involved with projects and programmes and its development. Ensuring correct technical expertise is brought into key aspects of project and programme delivery, ensuring appropriate legal, HR, and information governance oversight is maintained and followed. Ensuring appropriate engagement with patients & users, clinical, and operational staff throughout the life cycle of projects and programmes, to allow for effective user testing and input into the development and roll out of wayfinding approaches. Identify and manage interdependencies between projects and programmes within the excellence portfolio and in the wider organisation Managing relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally Perform benefits analysis and baseline current system appraisal before each project and programme starts and ensure there is a plan in place for handover to the operational and clinical leads. Oversight, preparation and maintenance of all project documentation, including (but not limited to): project brief, project initiation document, appraisal options, RAID logs, lessons learned and actions logs, high level and detailed project plans, highlight reports, Project Board reports and papers. Ensure all project documentation and reports are prepared and delivered as specified in the project communications plan and in line with agreed reporting schedules. Manage the implementation costs and resources allocated to the project up to £1m. Co-ordinate the activity of project and programme team members and contributors ensuring that tasks and work packages are completed satisfactorily and on schedule. Regularly report on progress, monitoring progress against plan, delivery of the project and programme objectives, and post project review including updating the lessons learned and decision logs. Support bid writing, tender process management, procurement processes and liaise with stakeholders from key agencies in contract management Undertake any additional duties appropriate to the post, as may be required by the service and as delegated by the joint programme directors.
