We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Workforce and Practice Development Officer at the PO2 level to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the enhancement and optimization of workforce practices, ensuring that our organization remains at the forefront of industry standards. The Workforce and Practice Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and addressing workforce training needs, developing innovative training programs, and implementing best practices across various departments. You will collaborate closely with team leaders and stakeholders to assess current practices and provide strategic insights for improvement. This position requires a mix of analytical skills and interpersonal abilities, allowing you to effectively engage with staff at all levels while driving initiatives that promote professional growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities
Identify workforce training needs through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
Develop and implement training programs and workshops that address identified needs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust them as necessary for optimal results.
Collaborate with department heads to align workforce development strategies with organizational goals.
Research and benchmark best practices in workforce development to innovate and improve current practices.
Provide guidance and support to staff regarding professional development opportunities.
Monitor and report on the progress of workforce development initiatives to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in workforce development or a relevant area.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess training needs and program effectiveness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage diverse groups of stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in workforce development and adult learning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Pay Per Hour: £24.19
