The Role: Machine Operative

Location: Hemswell, DN21 5TU

Shift Pattern/Working Hours: 4 on 4 off (12 hour days / 12 hour nights)

Salary: £29,670 (The more you are willing to learn the more you will earn!)

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for your own asset ensuring this runs efficiently. Once competent at running your asset, you will be given the opportunity to increase your skills and knowledge and learn other areas of our process. Your efforts and dedication to the role would directly contribute to our mission of transforming waste into valuable resources.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment

· Ensuring material produced are to the required quality standard

· Identifying material type and grading as appropriate

· Maintaining machinery on a daily basis

· Carrying out pre-start checks on machine to ensure good operation

· Completing documentation and visual checks

· Ensuring the process is running smoothly without stoppages

· Completion of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activity’s during Planned Maintenance (PM) slots

· Achieve KPIs required

Key Attributes required to succeed in the role:

· Good attention to detail

· Health and Safety awareness

· Ability to work under own initiative

· Good communication skills

· Strong team player

· Manually dextrous

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

· FLT trained (desirable)

· Experience in in production/manufacturing process is desirable

· Basic computer skills
