37 hours per week, Summer Placement
£14.04 per hour (inclusive of £1.48 Distant Islands Allowance per hour)
Student placements will be available during the summer vacation.
You will assist the Zero Waste Western Isles team with monitoring and analysis work associated with the Comhairle’s recycling services and provide cover during seasonal variations in the current work programme.
You must have good knowledge of household recycling services, have good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to record data accurately. You must be studying towards qualification in environmental studies or relevant discipline.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.
