Job Title: Tower Crane Operator

Location: Maidstone

Start Date: 15th May

Duration: 6 months

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking tower crane operator, to join our client's team in Maidstone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the tower crane to lift and move materials, ensuring precise placement of loads.

  • Collaborate with ground crew, engineers, and site supervisors to follow site plans and instructions.

  • Perform daily inspections of the crane to ensure it is in good working condition.

  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations and safety protocols.

  • Monitor weather conditions and make operational decisions based on safety and efficiency.

  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Valid Tower Crane Operator Certification (CPCS or equivalent).

  • Proven experience operating tower cranes in a construction environment.

  • Strong understanding of crane mechanics and operations.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and blueprints.

  • A high regard for safety and a proactive approach to risk management.

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
