About the Role:

Are you passionate about Health & Safety and ready to make a real impact? Join our dynamic team as a Health & Safety Service Manager! This is your chance to lead, innovate, and ensure a safe working environment within Social Work Services.

What You'll Do:

Lead the Team: Manage and inspire our Health & Safety team to ensure compliance across our service.
Drive Excellence: Develop and maintain our Health & Safety Management System, ensuring we meet all legislative and policy requirements.
Be the Expert: Provide specialist advice to senior management and be responsible for liaising with external bodies like the Health and Safety Executive.
Innovate: Lead projects related to Health and Social Care Integration, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the table.
Engage: Prepare and present insightful reports on Health & Safety matters, and maintain strong relationships with Trade Unions and other stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: NEBOSH diploma or equivalent and Chartered Membership of IOSH.
Experience: Proven track record as a Health & Safety manager with strong knowledge of legislation and best practices.
Skills: Excellent communication, analytical skills, and the ability to influence senior managers and stakeholders.
Desirable but not essential: Additional professional qualifications and experience working with partner agencies and elected members.
