We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support our students to access a high-quality Enrichment and Personal Development programme. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
You will engage with students and local services to seek out new opportunities for students to develop the Enrichment programme, supporting development of their readiness for work, giving them a competitive edge in applying for their first-choice jobs and university courses.
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a customer service focused approach to support students. You will be an outgoing person who enjoys working with young people. You will have excellent communication, organisation and planning skills, and the ability to work to deadlines.
You will be required to attend a limited number of College Introductory Meetings, Open Days and marketing events on a rota basis throughout the year.
The successful candidate will be highly competent in a range of IT software with a keen eye for detail, as the role requires close recording and monitoring of all activities.
Experience of working with young adults or within the Further Education sector or in a youthwork role would be advantageous.
This post will be split across our Luton and Hemel campuses, but will involve travel across the College Group. The successful candidate will be working 37 hours per week.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 11th May 2025.
You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be encouraged to upskill.
We have a free on site gym at our Watford Campus and you can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.
If you have any questions or queries, please contact a member of the Human Resources team who will be happy to help. WHC Group is positive about disabled people. If you need help applying for a role, please contact us.
We reserve the right to close this advert early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.
