Community Safety / Anti-Social Behaviour Lead

Salary: £54,829 per annum
Location: Home Based
Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)

Looking for a role with real purpose that impacts on the lives of customers?

We’re seeking 2 experienced and passionate Community Safety experts to join our team, supporting our Extra Care and Retirement Living business areas. These exciting new roles provide you opportunity to develop and shape our approaches, keeping us fit for now and the future. You will be focussed on implementing and embedding best practice across the organisation safeguarding our residents.

Bringing expert knowledge of community safety initiatives, including ASB, unacceptable behaviour and hate crime, you will provide guidance and support on effective management to our operational managers.

You will have a proactive approach, focussed on prevention and early intervention. You will develop frameworks, policies, processes and procedures to embed consistency across the organisation.

Using data and insight you will support us to continually improve, highlighting lessons learnt, industry updates and best practice, to ensure we offer the best possible service to our customers and reduce risk for the organisation.

Of course, you will need experience of working in Social Housing, but you will also have a strong understanding of the complexity of needs of our residents. You’ll have a great network and work in collaboration with partners agencies to support residents.

What we are looking for:

* In-depth knowledge of the social housing sector Community Safety and ASB legislation and the legal frameworks related to Hate Crime & Domestic Abuse

* Experience working with older and vulnerable people, understanding complex needs

* Knowledge of the legal and non-legal remedies available to housing providers

* Experience of designing, producing, and presenting quality performance reports

* Experience of effectively designing and embedding policy and procedure

* Project management experience
